about me

Hey everyone!

My name is Alex. I´m a Software Developer based in Vienna, Austria. I got my bachelors degree in "Software & Information Engineering" at the Technical University Vienna and am currently studying for my masters degree in "Software Engineering" at Technikum Wien. Java is my programming language of choice, but I also have experience in Angular/AngularJS. I'm interested in Microservice Architecture and have developed some proof of concept projects at my current job with the Quarkus Framework. Additionally I have some experience with Blockchain technology, mainly with solidity and parity.

In my spare time I like to go bouldering, mountain biking, hiking and during lockdowns even jogging. I love meeting up with friends, listen to heavy metal and enjoy a good game of CS:GO.

skills

I have experience in Java and am an Oracle certified Associate for Java SE 8. Technology-wise I use mostly Java Enterprise/Jakarta, Angular with Material Design and a WildFly Server. Recent additions to my repertoire are the Spring Boot and Quarkus framework. Check out the work section for more info.
